Canvassing

Canvassing is when our mission team becomes totally engaged in the community we minister to going door to door on foot to meet and offer prayer and encouragement. Canvassing is a personal connection. It is how we get “up close and personal.” We don’t just minister from a platform, but we come down to where our brothers and sisters in rural South Africa live to demonstrate the love and compassion of Christ. During this time we invite them to our tent crusades, inform them about parcel night in which we provide each family present with a parcel of food, and offer prayer or a word of encouragement. This is often found to be the most rewarding part of our mission. It is also a great cultural experience.
